Does any one know where I can possibly buy any magazines written in French? I've check Barnes & Noble and Borders in South Charlotte/Pineville, but no luck there.

Thanks!

In France.

Ha, seriously though-- there is a French Chamber of Commerce in Charlotte and I bet they can give you some great information on that kind of stuff. Good luck--

You might have to find an internet source and order them that way.

I used to buy British mags and newspapers at Barnes and Noble, if they don't have them, I wouldn't know who would. You might ask them if they can get some in for you.

Im only guessing but I think maybe that newspaper magazine store in uptown overstreet mall may have it or a place to see if they do carry it.

Boy, do we have a dearth of international periodicals since Newsstand International closed.

I'm 99% sure Joseph-Beth Booksellers in the SouthPark Mall has French magazines. I'm not sure how much of a selection they have, though.

I have them shipped to my house. Did the subscription through amazon.com So now I don't have to worry about where I am going to buy my monthy editions of French Vogue, Numero, Jalouse, and L'Officiel.

Marvin your so cute you made me chuckle! You guys are probably going to think Im weird. After reading an issue I put each magazine in a bag and archive them. I like collecting them since so many of these magazines have iconic images. Have stacks and stack of magazines from the 50's to the present. Barnes and Noble's does carry many international editions but each store has a different inventory since each store is stocked according to demographics. Would ask one of the sales people if they would be so kind to locate an issue from another B&N store.

I would check out Paper Skyscraper on East Blvd., I'm pretty sure I saw some French magazines there while I was looking. You could always give them a call to check before you go. 704-333-7130
