I am planning to move my company to Charlotte.
Will be contracting with B2B sales people (10-15).
Thinking of the Ballantyne or Southpark area for offices.
Is the sales talent pool good in these areas?
Since the sales can work from home sometimes,
ideally need to be in the right area for living and working.
I strongly belive in telecommuting for sales professionals.
It started a few years ago and didn't really take off. There is talent here but it depends on if you are looking for local internet marketing or national.
I know the Ballantyne area seems to be very welcoming to new business and the area draws from lots of good neighborhood options - Matthews, Waxhaw, Fort Mill, Tega Cay, etc.
There is a very nice sales talent pool in the area. I see a lot of them in my practice.
Ballantyne is a great fit for living/working because it is easy to access from the areas mentioned below. It also gives your employees the options to live in SC or NC and schools for kids of either CMS or Union County.
Company is relative to the luxury market. Digital marketing and advertising. National and International. In this world economy only HNWI have $$. Therefore, they are the demos to advertise and market to.
Microsoft did a study... "luxury lovers would like to see more luxury online."
Online Advertising Engages Luxury Consumers Across the Globe (http://advertising.microsoft.com/research/luxury-lovers - broken link)
Our site has been in beta testing. Over 10,000 hits in two weeks from over 45 differnce countries. This is going to be a great global site when we have more content. The sales team will be securing this content.
I hope we can find the right sales team. They will make $$$$. See the city-data classifieds.
No offense to the OP but whenever I hear the word "MARKETING" the words hoax and scam come to mind. I mean how many of these companies actually pan out to be true? Not alot of them.
Marketing is not a scam at all, I'm curious to know why you think that. I am in outside sales ...I actually just got offered a couple of jobs here in Charlotte for internet marketing positions. Previously I was in radio advertising and I am very successful at what I do. You are confusing telemarketing with marketing...two completely seperate things. Advertising and marketing your business correctly is key; it's the difference of making your business plummet or thrive....

There is a difference between internet marketing companies that are already in Charlotte and internet market companies that have plans to come to Charlotte. Most marketing companies looking to move here or anywhere for that matter are not usually a business itself but they are a person or persons looking to get the ball rollin in a commercial type of marketing business.
Most of these people get started in this business by watching those infomercials on tv but it never pans out 95% of the time. These people mean all in well but it just isnt that easy. I am sure if you ask the OP for his or her real business address they wont give it cause chances are they don't have one. This is just my opinion only.
Not an infomercial. Too big to release name now. Press release in a few weeks.
