I stumbled on this website: The Fun at MossCreek as I was searching homes in the area.

I love Skybrook and what it has to offer, but what can you guys tell me about Moss Creek?

We love it- there are tons of kids & they plan a lot of social activities at the club house. The schools are in the neighborhood, so that's been great as well.
Good luck in your search.

The whole area is a great place to live. We really enjoy the area. The postives are high for both. IMHO, the main difference between the two are the overall look of the neighborhoods. Moss Creek looked a little more run down to our eyes while Skybrook looked overall well maintained. On the other hand, Skybrook is pretty trigger happy at fining residents for infractions. And, there are those power lines running through the neighborhood.

It really comes down to who has the house and lot for sale at the time you are looking. Are you looking in both counties or just the Cabarrus side?

What I like about Moss Creek is how kids can walk to school

It's seems to be a neighborhood chock full of kids too. Did you mean Skybrook or Skybrook North? Skybrook is nicer in my opinion, but Skybrook North is pretty similar to Moss Creek. I would say you'd like Moss Creek better of those two.
