Any spots that you don't care if everyone on Citi-Data knows about that is.
So far I have been to the dock off Dam Rd. off hwy 160 in Fort Mill (Near the Walmart on Lake Wylie) and the Duke fishing dock at the East side of the dam. (Catawba River).
I would be willing to go to say as far as Kings Mountain, to Chester, to Lancaster, or Monroe to kind of gague distance. (1 hour drive)

Well, if you ever want to go further south than 1 hour away do be sure to check out fishing on Lake Marion in Santee State Park (would take you about 2 hours to get there) - it is some of the best fishing in South Carolina. About This Park - Santee State Park - South Carolina State Parks
Closer to Charlotte have you gone to McDowell Nature Preserve in the Steele Creek area to fish in Lake Wylie?
Cane Creek Park in Waxhaw has a 350 acre trophy bass lake. I have been to the park but have not fished there yet. The lake has largemouth bass, bluegill, crappie and catfish. You do need a state fishing permit but they sell them at the park.
