Meditteranean Grocery Stores In South Charlotte? (Albemarle: restaurant, groceries, food)

Does anyone know of any places that sell middle eastern groceries around South Charlotte; perferrably in the South Park area? I've been looking for sweet red pepper paste and the place I used to get it from off Rea Rd no longer carries it.

Sorry, I don't, but it sounds interesting. Is it sweet, how do you use it ? Something that I have noticed is that other ethnic food stores might carry it. It'll be a challenge to find it, especially if there is a language barrier. Thanks for the info !

Not South Charlotte so much, but there is a place on Sharon Amity, just past Albemarle, that might have it. I'm pretty sure it's called Halal International Market. They had the maftoul I was looking for, which can be really hard to find. It'll be a trek from the SouthPark area, but it's worth a try. It's on the right just as you cross Albemarle heading north/east on Sharon Amity. Good luck!

Cedarland Grocery and Restaurant on Central Ave. I know a couple friends who go there for for middle-eastern grocery and meats

I've seen the Halal Meat Market & Deli on Sharon Amity as well.
