probably many would think: Nascar Hall of Fame and/or Charlotte Motor Speedway. Not a fan myself, but, those are two of the items that are indigenous to the area.

It's a tough one... Charlotte is OK but nothing really stands out.

NASCAR fall of fame is unique to the town at least so I'll go join the second poster.

After hours pole dancing at a club that opens at 2AM. Small place located (4miles from Uptown.) So called "top shelf" liquor at $4.00 a drink or better yet the homemade stuff at 2 bux. "Big Mama" serves one heckava breakfast starting at 6:30AM.

LOL! Was that a subconscious slip?

We take all of our guests to the whitewater center. Everyone we've taken there has absolutely loved it.

It depends on what you're looking for... If it's something to eat, I'd suggest Charlotte staples such at Mac's Speedshop on South Blvd (fantastic BBQ) or The Penguin for a nice greasy burger. Both places have been featured on the Food Network. As others have suggested the Nascar Hall of Fame. Also, the newly opened Wells Fargo cultural campus if you're into the arts.
