Hello,
Looking for anyone that has experience with, and can recommend someone that can install laminate. I have the flooring already, I just need someone (that has references, photos of their work, lic/bonded) that can install it as well as the quarter-rounds.

If anyone knows personally of someone they'd recommend I'd appreciate it.

It is for my basement, subfloor is cement, ~700sq/ft laminate.

Thanks!
TSpoon

I found someone on Craigslist a few years ago that worked out really well. I don't have their name, but that was how I found them.

Yeah, the problem with craigslist is that there is ~50 posts a day for different flooring installers, all of which have "20 years experience, expert in 90 items, low cost" but I've found them to either not return calls, they're not licensed/insured/bonded, or have no references.

Thank you though. I'm still looking for anyone that has a good personal referral :-) Anyone???

PM me...

I have a great affordable guy that has a ton of references and a price that cannot be beat!

My good friend is a manager for home depot and found him there.

Two years ago, I found a flooring installer through Charlotte Service Magic. I don't remember the name of the company, but they did a great job and I liked dealing with them.

Yes you must be careful with craigslist. I hired a painter who did the ceiling and walls and indicated that he was done and I walked over to the french doors and I said "aren't you painting these" and he said "I didn't know." Ugh. Doors are part of the room and you don't paint them?
