Thanks in advance.....Can you please rate some apartment complexes -- SEE BELOW. I'm helping a friend's daughter look for apartments.

I've looked at crime maps -- but they really haven't been that helpful, the legends and way they're laid out was kind of confusing, actually. Safety is a primary concern, as she'll be working all kinds of hours.

She'll be working at the U.Va Medical Center/Hospital -- and would like a commute of a half-hour ABSOLUTE TOPS, the shorter the better. Not interested in noisy areas that at too student oriented.

-- How is traffic going down the Rt. 29 corridor. She's from the DC area so is used to THAT kind of traffic. I'm thinking that whatever Rte 29 is like, it's got to be better than the DC commute. We're concentrating on the north side of the area, because she'll be driving home to MD a lot, so it makes no sense to live even farther south.

For the first year or so... SHARE.

The HR folks at the hospital should have some resources
to connect her with another employee of similar age etc.

Thanks. But I already know she wants her own place.
She went to school there so is familiar with the area. Just not specific apartment complexes.
