My wife is from Munich and our little guy speaks a mix of English and German (He's 2). How can we get connected to the German community in Chattanooga?

I don't think there is a German community in Chattanooga, so to speak. There are Germans living here, but they are all over the place, not is a community or certain area.

Willkommen. Many of the Germans here are associated with the new Volkswagen plant. There is a program at Normal Park Museum Magnet school for their children. Perhaps someone there (Ms. Draper, maybe) could tell you more about how to make contact with the community.

I sent you a message, but thought of this afterward! There is a school in Cleveland, TN -
Home I have met the owner's husband before. He is German, and I think she is as well, but I'm not certain. He has a blog and some other resources I can share if you are interested. The Cleveland/ Bradley Chamber of Commerce may also have some connections since Wacker is coming in there.
