My wife and I are looking to live in DOWNTOWN Chattanooga - not near it, but in it.

Any suggestions?

You may be able to rent a condo. You'll get sticker shock by the rent though as you are competing with VW and Wacker.

On realtor.com, they have a drop down menu for "rentals", here are some current rentals listed in downtown Chattanooga (some are not downtown, but you don't have to click on those).

Good luck, hope you find something perfect for you and your wife

Downtown (Market Street, Broad Street) and near the Aquarium is zip code 37402. Part of zip code 37403, which includes the Hunter Museum areas, is also downtown. Here is the link that I used on Google:
Chattanooga Zip Code Map of Chattanooga, TN

You can zoom in on these zip codes and get a closer look at the street names, etc.
