I'm looking for the same advice. How about thoughts on Signal View, Mountain Creek, or Alpine Villas apartments? We have 3 small children so we're looking for a family friendly complex. Also considering Northshore Village apartments. I just got a job at VW so I'm wondering what the commute would be like as well. Thanks.

We ending up buying a house (moving in 2 weeks!), so we didn't look at apartments when we visited
We didn't even drive over to Signal Mountain since we were looking at houses on the other side of town. From looking online, most of those apartment complexes near Signal Mt. seem decent, but the commute would probably be the biggest issue, being on the opposite side of town from VW.
(mattinatl, congrats on your job, my husband is going to be doing the Automotive Mechatronics training at the VW plant... so not a job yet but hopefully when he finishes in 3 years he'll have a job there!)
