The problem is wine sales. TN doesn't allow wine sales in grocery / conv. stores. They consider wine to be "liquor" and should be sold in a liquor store. Soooooooo...... gotta go to Atlanta for the 2 Buck Chuck

Not sure if you were on the forum yet when 2 buck chuck came up before. Actually now that I think about it, it was in the Knoxville subforum. Anyhow, Tridad and I got married in 2003 in Granada Hills, CA. IT was a very budget conscious wedding (but it was a beautiful outdoor garden wedding and poolside evening reception with lots of dancing) and we served 2 buck chuck. Everyone was perfectly happy with it, except one wine snob friend of my mom's who made the comment later to my mom when he was getting married, "We certainly won't be serving 2 buck chuck at our wedding." People are too much! Sorry, we did not meet with a sommelier when planning our wedding!

Someone mentions "grocery store" and I come scurrying over.

I finally looked up "Trader Joes." The curiousity was killing me. "Two Buck Chuck" is a guy! I thought it was a deal on ground beef!

Split, there is a Krogers in Crossville. It would be a little bit of a drive, but some good scenery.
