Hi,
We are moving this fall and I am interested in a new home communities that are not built on top of each other. We would like at least 1/2 acre, prefer 1 acre lot. Any ideas on new construction to look at OR some names of reputable builders in the area?
Thanks so much!

My wife and I were looking close to that area (as well as the Knoxville area) I do recall seeing some small acreage in the Ooltewah/Collegedale area, while searching realtor.com.

We ended up finding 1.2 acres within about a mile of I75 by Cleveland, TN. We close on the lot in July. We went to the Bradley Co. Chamber and they had a newcomers packet which has great information in it. We also have a cousin that has lived in the area for about 20 years so I can get good information from someone I know and trust.

We have run into the same problem. We move in August. We found a home in Harrison that is zoned for some really good schools in Ooltewah and only about 12 minutes to Publix in Ooltewah. Good luck we had to look hard. We got 1/2 acre. The home was not new but had been updated and was not terribly old either. I only found homes very close together in the new neighborhoods
