Considering move to TN from Boston. 48 yrs and single. In comparison to Greeneville, Johnson City,and as far away as Nashville- is Chattanooga a good place to live, work, socialize ?

Chattanooga has the perfect size, proximity to Atlanta and Nashville (and others), locale near/in gorgeous scenery, and activities for most people. You would probably enjoy it. Although, as a single person, you might look at Nashville first. Of course, based on its sheer size Atlanta would have everything you're accustomed to in Boston. Chattanooga is great for all types of lifestyles, but in your situation you'll want to make the effort to "plug in" to lots of groups. And there are many many groups. It's a really outdoorsy place and with all the German and Japanese companies here, there's a lot of cosmopolitan influence. Make sure you visit all of the above.
