I am moving to Chattanooga, TN soon, and I am looking to move somewhere that is real rural, schools are not a major concern since I live alone, I just want to live somewhere rural with land I can buy. Any suggestions?

There are lots of rural areas surrounding Chattanooga. Just leave the city and drive a bit.

West of Chatt , Whitwell, Powell Crossroads.
I would say west of Chatt on I-24 then North into lower Sequatchie county , would be your lowest cost housing.... Whitwell , Powell crossroads are some intersections that come to mind.... Actually flat farm land rural feel ,, but has future potential ..
