Hello all. Can anyone tell me around when is the best month to catch the peak autumn color in the Jasper/Kimball area? We were up there the beginning of last October and it was still a little too early. Planning on going up again this fall, we only need a week's notice to go. Any help is appreciated!

flarborist - Looks like Split saved you a trip and some gas! Nice picture! I remember living in Ohio, how beautiful fall was, until about 3 weeks later when "beautiful fall" was now all over my parents lawn! Guess who raked it?!

My family and I were up the last week of October last year and it was still not peak. I am guessing early/mid November. Not sure how much that varies from year to year...

Here is a website with calendar that maps out peak fall color times.

Question Chestnut Trees..??

FL; Geting any rain from that Wide Hurricane going by you to the west.??
Seems to be shooting outer bands.?
. Anyhow can you give us latest / good info on Chestnut trees.? A friend of a friend in Ocala seems to have some and maybe the only batch that survived the disease / blight ?
. Good screen name. Only teasing wit ya . Thats why the thread asked about Fall TREE colors. People would never Hi-jack a thread and change subjects to Boats or Jeeps.
Stay safe. Will visit ya in May.
