What do you think of the Benton area? It sounds like a very small town or village. Are there jobs there? Or do you have to drive long distances to work?
Any input you can give me?
Thanks,

Benton is a beautiful town to live in. You have about a 20 minute drive to the closest work, but it is soooo worth it if you like peace and quiet and noone telling you how to live your life. I work in East Ridge which is 45 miles from my door to the first exit in Chattanooga. It is well worth the drive every day just to see the mountains and the peace and quiet I have here.

Thank you, Happy Halfback. Sounds like my kind of town. I will do more checking into the area.

I remember reading a few years back that there were some MS-13 killings near there at Jacks River or Conasauga River. I assume they traveled up from Chattanooga. Would that be an accurate assumption?

I have just moved to Benton county, where would you suggest to start looking for work. Would Jackson be the place to start.
