I am trying to locate a good gynecologist but am very very picky about who I choose. It must be a female and someone who is very gentle during the exam. I also would like someone who understands depression and was willing to give advice on meds and such. Ladies, let me know your thoughts on which FEMALE doctor would be good.

Dr. Copper Newman is great. She is with Galen Medical at Hamilton Place. She is such a good listener and has great bed side manner. She delivered both my kids. She is very easy to talk to and has two small children so can relate to any situation. I went to her with depression after my kids were born and will give you whatever you need. She's so popular, I don't know if she's accepting new patients at this time..... Definetly check her out. 899-9133....I am moving soon and will miss her so bad!! feel free to message me about any more info. Good luck!!

Dr. Patel with Beacon Health. She is wonderful and is even helping me find doctors when we relocate.

Dr. Sabrina Collins at the Chattanooga Center for Women. LOVE her and am so happy she is delivering our second baby. She is gentle, compassionate, and real. I just cannot say enough how great she is. I cannot speak for her knowledge about depression, but she did have some good thoughts when my hormones were raging at different points during this pregnancy and I had mood swings.
