According to my research the CTS has much better reliability ratings anyone have any experience with either of these? I like the ATS a lot and am seriously considering it however now the reliability issue is starting to worry me.

If you haven't already done so, I suggest you visit some of the message forums dedicated to those models. You'll get a better idea of the kinds of problem people are experiencing in the real world.

I purchased a 2011 CTS-V about 1 month ago. So far, so good. One of the other cars I was considering was a circa 2010 Mercedes SL63AMG. After visiting some the owner forums, I wouldn't touch one with a 20ft pole.

CTS-V will have 5 yr/100K powertrain warranty. Mercedes warranty is long since over and AMG parts are expensive! You bought the right hotrod!
