Is Buick's sleek sports car concept the new Holden? | Stuff.co.nz

I wish they would put this in production.

I am hoping it is less of a sports car and more of a "working man's GT"--a budget alternative to the BMW 6 or Mercedes S Coupe. I love the Camaro and had a 4th gen in college, but as a mid-30's professional with a family I would rather be seen in something a little more 'grown up' (and I'm still 20 years away from a Corvette). I can't afford a 6 series, so there are no other options. If they make this car, it may be the one to finally bring me back to GM.

I cannot imagine they would reinvent the Camaro. So I do believe it would be more of a GT type coupe and certainly not an all out sports car. Along those lines, I also do not think they would want to seriously step on the alpha platform ATS either with it, so it might be interesting how they go about giving it a distinct personality. More of a softer car, and less of a canyon carver would be one way (since the ATS has a rather sporty demeanor as it is... at least allegedly... non performance versions I find less than impressive).

It looks great! Which means that even should GM put it into production it will be utterly and totally goobered up and marketed every bit as well as the Chevy SS.
