I think I'm on my own fixing this or be glad it will still drive out of town, stop later to get dash climate controls to work.

Anyway I have 1990 Chevy Van RV with 25 ft mini-winnnie back end. This is a sleeper over the driver/passenger seats style. Officially it is a 1991 Damon Escaper.

Well slider for HEAT/AC came jammed. Still produces a lot of air which moves locations as I move slider from defrost, to AC to heat. Kid at the RV repair here is ass and kept giving it back to me messed up. Place has a problem servicing females I guess despite fact my other family has used them, so I was stuck going to this RV servicing place as a family member ran off with the RV a few times already like a nutty passive aggressive idiot. Try to say anything and he tries to get violent....Know why I'm leaving huh?

Anyway, right down to it. Slider was stuck on heat/AC. Then kid ripped it loose and heat did not work at all, AC was fine. Took it back and heat worked for a bit, then neither heat nor AC works but air comes out the appropriate place when I move the slider. Warmish air comes out only now.

What exactly is wrong?

I really am getting into this RV soon and not come back for a while. Weather is okay enough to handle 2/70 or dress warm for another 6 weeks so could just get it moving on out of here and not deal with the rest of the auto repair places that are just as much of a problem sometimes. It's just how women are treated here any longer.

I'm very tempted to find a COOTER down the road somewhere in the country. This is nothing more than an old VAN chassy. But think this fix may require busting into the dash.

If you have any quick fixes, I'm listening too.

THANKS!
