My brother in law has 3 cars.....a Denali pickup, a Suburban and the SS. NONE of his vehicles get great mpg but then again he didn't buy them for MPG in the first place. Denali is 10 years old and has about 80K on it, the Suburban is 4 years old with about 80K on it and the SS is a 2016 with 5K on it.

Why would you expect the MPG to be similar? I'm also certain mpg isn't the reason these didn't move either

The SS was a gigantic mistake on Chevy's behalf. Ive literally seen two on the road, and it most likely was the same guy I saw twice. The styling is boring beyond belief, a very forgettable design. I wont miss this model whatsoever.

Yup, been working with a guy in Dallas since December. I jumped on the 20% sale on Monday and the car arrived at the dealer last night. It's like I ordered one but didn't.

Regal Peacock Green, 6mt. Picking it up Friday.

A Kia may have twin tailpipes but they're not connected to a bi-modal exhaust system.

Always loved that color, good choice. Great car and the last Australian import...ever?

Balnd styling in a sport/performance sedan is why these did not sell. Of course it gets worse mileage than a vette, it is a sedan. Try getting 4-5 people into a vette some time.

The Holden version was better looking IMO. That may have changed. I would prefer a G8 GXP despite some improvements made for the SS. The SS is just over the top bland. I love a good sleeper, which this is, but it just is too much Malibu/Impala for my tastes. (I am nto a big fan of Sedans period).

Very Average Styling, no wonder they didn't sell. At lease Ford got it Right with the Taurus SVT.
Except for the Corvette and Cadillac lines, Chevy needs to fire everyone in their design department.

Chevy stylists had nothing to do with it. Holden did the styling in Australia.
