Maybe not for a sedan but people spend far more than $45K for Chevys all the time.

Not many folks want a V-8 sedan at 45000 plus. Heck Cadillac's aren't selling and they have some real nice cars

Tahoes / Suburbans can be a lot more than that.
All Corvettes and many Camaros are also more than $45K.

I'd love to have one... and I could pay cash if I wanted to. But $46k for a vehicle? That's just wasteful.

At that price, it's not really a truck. It's a luxury car with an open trunk.

Sure like I mentioned people pay over $45k for loaded SUVs and Camaros but not for a 4 door sports car.

I bet Subaru sells more STIs that are about $45k out the door than Chevy sells these SS.

They don't try to sell the SS very hard.
Australian auto manufacture so costly that it's about to become extinct.

Fans a got reprieve after the G8. There's not gonna be one this time.
I liked the G8 GXP better. Now that was a proper sendoff to a once-great marque.
