Its not a bad idea, but its not required unless the manufacturer requires it for warranty, and I have never heard of one who has.

Tire Kingdom has 2 for 2 sale if you get the installation pkg--which we would--and they "recommend" alignment--
That price is about same as Costco and sale goes until July 4 so husband would be back in town---he is in TX right now til Tue or Wed and Costco sale stops today...

The tire manager at Costco which has about the same price and said they recommended alighnment but could not do it...
but Costco has fewer outlets for service if you have problem driving from FL//TX like we do 4-5 times a year and no Costco makes appointments for tire rotations from what I have read so more of a hassle
Tire Kingdom is same as NTB which we have plenty of in TX

And the particular Tire Kingdom has good recommends on Tire Rack's site as well as others so seems reliable place to do business with...

The local TK/NTB will never get any of my business, ever again. (Long, long story.)

I think everyone has a retailer story like that
And to be honest I have read complaints about other TK stores in the Sarasota area
But I also read some really negative reviews from people buying tires through Costco who have issues with wearing out too soon and tire damage that didn't get what you would think of as the "Costco" level of customer service...

Who do you choose to buy tires from?

Life is a crap shoot--
I need to buy a new washer for sure and husband says to get new dryer so they match
Likely will buy from Costco because of the warranty that comes w/o cost--
Extra yr from mfg and two yrs extended through Costco credit card--we will pay it off the first billing cycle--
Just because there is NO brand that comes w/o issues
Conversation with Lowe's appliance person this morning to see if they could tell me who does the aftermarket warranty service for either the LG or the Whirlpool washer/dryers they sell...
She couldn't but she said that LG and Samsung do not have US warehouse for parts--
The service people doing warranty work who need parts have to order from Korea--
That just seems self-destructive policy to cut costs---

I've had amazing luck with "Cooper" tires. Suggest that a visit to the Cooper site will help find the correct tire for your needs and vehicle.
