They probably think a vehicle with a storied and historic name like Blazer will sell better than the Traverse.

Looks like another storied nameplate is about to be ruined. Again. Look what an abomination has been the new so called Renegade.

It's when they took a Chevy Cavalier spruced it up and called it a Cadillac. And charge people 25K for it.

My sister used to drive a Chevy Blazer, until one day when it COUGHT ON FIRE while she was driving it. Almost didn't make it out of that thing.

Will this be a feature of the new ones as well?

Nope. All new crossover to slot between the Equinox (which was downsized) and the Traverse. Think of it as Chevy's competitor to the Ford Edge, Nissan Murano.

It'll be more than a rebadge. It will share it's platform with the Acadia and the XT5 both of which have unique styling and detailing.
