I have a 86 Olds 98 sedan it needs front rotors/pads I have bought them just need them installed. What on average do you think I'm looking to pay? I live in Columbus, OH.

Most mechanics will jack up the labor because they are not making a profit on the parts, and many will refuse. They will also refuse to provide any kind of warranty since they did not provide the parts. having done brakes on that vintage before I would consider it a one hour (or less) job if no other problems are found, like leaking calipers or bad seals. Here that would be about $100. Last time I had front pads and rotors done on a 2007 Ranger, about two years ago I was charged $160 total. Not worth the trouble of doing it myself for that price.
