It replaces both the ATS & CTS. Based upon photos and write ups it looks, to me, like the perfect Cadillac entry level luxury sports sedan to compete on the world stage. Just have to wait until it’s released before finding out if it lives up to the promise.

According to the story it’s to compete with a class of cars BMW & MB doesn’t sell in USA. Makes me wonder if this means the CT4 will be for European sales only.

IMO, it will compete with the A3 and A-Class... cars that start around $30K.
All Cadillac models combined sold 1003 cars in Europe last year.
They're not making something just for them.
I doubt I'd ever buy a Cadillac again. I had a bad experience with my 2007 CTS and a recurring ignition problem that they never did fix. And the service department certainly did NOT give me "luxury vehicle" treatment. I was going to check into the new XT4 but after reading the reviews, many of which dealt with transmission issues and lousy treatment by Service Departments, I was flashing back to my CTS experience. Much as I like to support American car companies, I'll pass on Cadillac.
Now this car is pretty badazz with a manual shift, too bad it came along at the wrong era.
