As much as I dislike the looks of the Bolt, I've considered one of those used 'reacquired' models since the new battery pack starts 8 year warranty all over again. The downside is that it'll always have a lemon title.
Cvetter,
How comfortable is the ride? I drive 37.5 miles one-way to work, mostly highway. We also get snow and ice. Is it sure-footed?
Yup, although for snow and ice I'd use much better tires (we only get that for about a week here, so it's not worth it to change tires out), as the stock eco tires are crap. THe ride is good (some peopel complain, but they've obviously never driven sports cars or sport sedans, as to me, the ride is kind of soft in comparison to my other cars). The early cars had kind of crap seats though. In 2020, they got better (and the cloth is more comfortable than the leather), and the 2022s got completely redesigned seats which are great.
Here's what we're ordering this week. 2023 Bolt EUV Premier Redline with the Sun and Sound package (sunroof and upgraded stereo system). Black with the black and red stripe interior, heated ventilated seats, etc.

Looks sharp. Looking forward to hearing how you like the upgrade after living with it for awhile.

Hmm, that made me more interested since I really doubt Chevy will support the vehicle ones they don't need to (ala the Volt). Unfortunately they won't over MSRP for used ones at least locally right now... which is odd because you can get new ones for 2023 MSRP pretty easily. Used market be nuts.

And now I have a build date from GM. 10/10/22. So it should be here by the start of November.
"In Q3, a total of 14,709 Bolt EV/Bolt EUV were delivered to customers, which is 226% more than a year ago and the best result ever." It seems that rumors of the death of the Bolt have been highly exaggerated.
The Chevy Bolt EV family had its best quarterly sales ever and GM is increasing production to meet demand.
While that is good new that is fairly selective statistics picking. The YTD Bolt sales are ~identical to last year.

Buick is really tanking this year. Every single model (ENCLAVE, ENCORE, ENCORE GX, ENVISION) is plumetting by 30% to 60%.
Yes, but, sales earlier in the year were depressed by the battery recall news as well as a suspension of vehicle production. I think the real news is that when they got past the recall and the production resumed, the sales have come back, stronger than ever.

Well that is positive. But I was hoping that Bolt sales would surpass Malibu before the end of the year,
2022 Chevrolet Malibu/MSRP From $23,400
Chevy Malibu will depart in 2022. The Malibu as the only non-electric, family-oriented car for Chevy.
