This is a concept EV called the Wildcat. With changes towards a production version I could see this as a beautiful sedan but sadly chances are it’ll never become a production version with sedans not selling as well.
Electra is actually a perfect name for an electric car. Some traditions need to die. And how many people care about Buick today anyhow? This thing looks great.

Looks like a zero chance concept car. Pie in the sky for 2023 if all we're seeing is some CGI of wildly different looking zero chancers this late in the game. If anything it will just be a sloppy badge job of the Lyriq.

Nice thing about a skateboard chassis is that you can put any body on the top of it, from a sporty car to a minivan and there's no EPA certification (which is why you're seeing so many startups doing EVs). While Buick said this exact car won't make it, the idea that they will be making an EV lineup named Electra sits well, even IF most of these will be only for China (where Buick is a real respected nameplate).

Yeah, I could see a Buick Avenir type EV doing well in China. Brand needs serious help here in the US. It's all a bunch of economy Chevies sporting Buick badges.

Precisely! And how many potential buyers for a Buick EV would even know of the name's history in the lineup?

Yes, respected and really the main reason Buick currently exists. Without its presence in China when GM was slashing nameplates we might still have Pontiacs or Oldsmobiles instead...
