Always had that prob even stock and the C6's were even worse. I never had rear tires last more than 3k miles even on modded C6's.

No, just engine mods done by the manufacturer to get more HP & torque out of the same engine. They add stronger brakes, and better cornering too. They may add some aerodynamic mods too.

I was asking about his 940hp C7.

Are you running Sport Cup 2’s?

As a fan of Corvettes, especially C2’s and 3’s, and the owner of a 40th Anniversary C4, the C8 is butt ugly, and the engine isn’t where it belongs. Worked at GM Tonawanda when they unveiled it. Not impressed except for the power plant. And… No manual gear box option? You can keep it.

The C-8's are still selling quite well, & the 2024's are now in the showrooms...look the same to me as the 2023's...2 new colors I read, but I only like White or Red.

The new 2023 Z06 I was interested in finally sold for $190k...below 2 earlier offers they received. Still more than I cared to pay. I would have bought it for $170k, $10k over sticker, but I was well short.

I think the C-8 looks good, & I like the engine where its at now for better balance, and handling.

Its the best performance sports car for the money by far, but that's just my opinion.

The lightly used 2021 C-8 w/o the Z51 package is still available, but I think it not having the Z51 package will hurt it on the resale side, so I'm taking a pass.

I'll wait for the market to cool off on the C-8's...I'm in no hurry. When they start selling them at sticker, that will be my time.

I still like the Porsche 911's too. Nothing else is on my radar. I don't trust most of the exotic brands for reliability, & their repair costs are through the roof. No Lambo's, Ferrari's, Aston Martin, McLaren, Audi A8, for me. Lotus look cool, but I dont trust their reliability, or resale.

I trust the Porsche 911S & Corvette C-8, for reliability, performance, & resale.

Thousands of C8's on the used market, their bubble has popped and the Z06s are getting cheaper by the week. Once winter sets in the Z06s will start to suffer from "lot rot"

C4's are decent but they got stuck in a rut from the get go (junk motor). Anniversary/Pace Cars whatever never seem to live up to the "collectible hype"

BTW the 93 has the best looking steering wheel in all of the C4's, the 94+ looks like it came out of a Buick or Pontiac parts bin
