Down here in FLA, our big sales months are from December-April, when the snow birds are here. I think by May, Corvettes will cost much less than they do now...I'll wait.

Consumer sentiment has dropped again in October, so the auto market will be softening overall.

BTW the 93 has the best looking steering wheel in all of the C4's, the 94+ looks like it came out of a Buick or Pontiac parts bin
The LT1 was a oil leaker.

The auto auction prices for C8 Corvette's has fallen a lot.

I'm waiting for that trend to hit the retail level.

I refuse to pay over manufacturers sticker price for a new or used C-8, unless its a new 2024 Z06....I'd go $10k over for the right one...not a 2023 anymore though, now that the 24's are out.

There are still lots of Z51 C-8's, new and used, asking over sticker....not even Z06's...just Z51's asking $10k-$20k over...2023's that are now a model year old.

I passed on another one today because they wouldn't send me a copy of the manufacturers window sticker. I'd estimate the mfr window sticker to be $98k, and they were asking $107k...no thx, & good luck with that.

Lots of flippers who have not seen the auction prices falling yet still asking too much.

If you open the carfax tab on the used car you are looking at, you'll likely see a tab for the original window sticker. If they are not providing a carfax, & are using a knock off service, you may not see that option.

Thx for this tip...I've been using it a lot...almost daily.

You are right about only Carfax having that tab for original sticker.

C-8 prices are falling since the 24's are now out...not plummeting, but each month I see a anotehr $5k drop for the used ones.

Today, I found a 2023 15 month old C8 Z51 for $85k that had a new sticker price of $92k, so $7k under original sticker...best deal I've found thus far on auto trader.

I did check out Bring A Trailer, but nothing there that fits my spec.

I also found the #1 Covette forum, and joined it...some real motorheads there.

2023 Z06's have fallen from $200k down to $175k...no thx on that. For $175k I'd buy a 911GS.

Yes, CF is a big one. If you visit the C8 section, you'll notice that a couple dealerships are offering new cars for $1500-$5500 below MSRP. (With no "junk" fees.) Z car's excluded, until they're included. Figure a couple years for this to happen.

Also, now that there are over 100,000 C8's in garages, the demand is becoming satisfied. It now takes about 2 months to receive a car, from ordering to delivery. (Unless you want something on constraint.) this, from those 2 dealerships in the East.

E-Ray's are taking market share away from Z06's, so that may soften pricing on Z's quicker. (E-Ray's go into production Feb. 4th, btw.)

I like the "wide" body, so I'm waiting for the GranSport (if GM builds it, anyway.)

My Previous car was a wide body. Kinda like 'em...

I found a 2023 C8 online that was very close to my spec (w/ Z51 & 2LT), had low miles on it, and the asking price was reasonable.

I went to see it & it was in great shape, so why didn't I buy it?

I can't get past the lack of visibility out all 4 sides. Even looking straight out through the windshield was limited. I felt like I was trying to drive a submarine by looking out through the periscope.

I've scratched the C-8 off my list even though they have a great value to performance ratio, & I like their looks...I'm bummed.
