I tried to turn it on, nothing on dash lights up, but speedometer needle moves, tried a few more times and happens again. Then i waited a minute and it starts right up. I checked all the grounds and battery post, all is good. Whad could it be?

If not the battery.. ignition switch would be a good starting point.

Problem is.. You really need a bidirectional unit that can read the ignition switch PIDs. Have the key in off, verify that the computer sees it as off.. Turn it to run, verify the computer sees it in run, turn to crank and verify that the computer sees crank.

Otherwise, you're half tearing the column/dash apart to test it.

Being a 2005.. Decent bet on the ignition switch, but it's not something to fire the old parts cannon at.

The Chevrolet Classic was built for the rental car industry, it’s just a Malibu with the classic name on it.
