I need to buy a suit for an interview this week. I used to shop at Casual Corner and could find a nice suit there--but they are no longer in business.

TJ MAXX and Marshalls are okay if you happen to hit them at the right time. I found a beautiful Calvin Klein pantsuit (lightweight)at Marshalls, but not in my size, and the one size bigger than my normal size was just too big.

I looked at JC Penney and Sears, but it seemed to be the usual assortment of cheap, bulky looking mother-of-the-bride type suits more than business ones.

I think I'll go to Macy's and see what they have, but if anyone has any suggestions I'd appreciate it. I don't want to go downtown.

I'm looking for a modern-looking black, gray or taupe pantsuit or suit with skirt.

Since you're in Schaumburg, have you tried Nordstrom (Woodfield) or maybe Nordstrom Rack (on Golf)?

Macy's, Von Maur, Carson's, Nordstrom. Also Lands End has business attire in the stores and on line.

Thanks for everyone's input. My first stop yesterday was at TJ Maxx on 59 and Higgins in Hoffman Estates. I found a nice black pantsuit for $40. Interview went well!;
