I am a real estate investor and would like opinions as to the best city to buy a building in the Chicago market. The size can be 12 units to 100 units.

Oak Lawn?
I know that there are some older buildings along 95th Street and Ridgeland that are smaller (6 units???), but nice and usually have no problem being filled to capacity. Another town with nice apartments is Palos Hills/Hickory Hills. I know that there are some there along 95th Street and about Harlem. I think that may be Hickory Hills though, not really sure, but I do know that there are a lot of apartments around there that you can look at and prices are reasonable.
