Ideally you would be looking at a 3 bedroom, but 2 bedroom minimum for rent. My instincts tell you to go with a townhome. You can find such a townhome in Naperville proper, or a nearby suburb. Also look at Lisle, which is cheaper than Naperville, but still good schools.

I've heard that naperville is very expensive, do you think with the budget i mentioned earlier for a home that we can get a decent place there?

I did a brief craigslist search. There are plenty of 2 bedroom homes in Naperville for rent in that price range. Generally, they are townhomes.

I'd just stay in naperville. You won't get anything fancy, but that budget should get you by.

...living in either Wonder Lake or Anrtioch would NOT be remotely convenient to a job located near Naperville...
