I'd have to say Bensenville, with the airport and industrial areas, and the demolition of an entire area of town.

Maywood is in Cook County, not DuPage. But yeah, certainly, Maywood's not exactly the most prosperous community at this point in time.

For ones in DuPage that I have experience with, I, too, would go with Glendale Heights.

It's full of cheaply constructed post WWII housing and is nothing but subdivisions and shopping centers. Nothing interesting or attractive about the place, to me at least.

Why are we wondering which area is worst? Such discussions amaze me.

Now, if the question were which area to avoid as to crime, housing stock, schools, lack of shopping or lack of entertainment, I could understand the discussion.

There are no actual ghettos or rough areas in Dupage County. Even places like Glendale Heights don't cut it. Glendale Heights is diverse by looking at the demographics, there are alot of Asians there.

Glendale heights median income $60,916
