No doubt the homes in OP are gonna have higher taxes as much of what was built in the town post 1985 has been "Mc Mansions" mostly developed by Mc Naughton Developers on the west side of town. Gallagher and Henry had some as well. All that has been going on in OP while TP and OH have been building reasonable homes... And by me saying reasonable, I mean a house that does't require a full time staff to maintain it like much of what is in Silo Ridge does.

Haha. I can't even imagine what it must take to maintain homes and land that large...hey - to each his own.

Still, I stand by my statement, Orland Park is an awesome place to be.

Orland Park is a great area! It reminds me alot of Naperville in a way, but the good part is that its centrally located. Its not TOO far from the highways, and your close enough to Chicago and the surrounding burbs to not feel like your in the middle of nowhere. Traffic gets congested frequently, whether passing through or not (during peak hours) but for the most part, theres alot to do out there!
