What does anyone think about Kenosha and Libertyville areas? I have been just checking those areas out a little. I wonder how the cost of living and school systems are. Thanks for all of your help!

Libertyville was suggested by another poster. Good schools, convenient shopping-just be sure the commute isn't too long. Rte 21 (Milwaukee Av), Rte 60 and Rte 176 can be very slow going during rush hour. 294 is much improved since the 4th lane was added a few years ago.
Kenosha?! Too far, don't know about schools; have read old posts lambasting some Kenosha schools.
Keep in mind traveling during snow storms. Keep the door to door commute to under 30 minutes and your quality of life will be better. So many good choices next door to Riverwoods; Kenosha?!

Grayslake is not a bad choice. Ride the Milwaukee North to Lake Cook Rd and the shuttle bus will get you to the office. Yes, traffic in Lake County can be a trial, sometimes a ten mile trip can take an hour.
