I am looking to purchase a house in the Georgetown subdivision in Aurora and am looking for any information on the safety of that neighborhood. It is near Montgomery Rd and Middlebury Dr.
When driving around there today it looked well kept.
I was previously looking in Summerlakes subdivision in Warrenville and learned it was not so safe there.
Thanks! Any insight would be greatly appreciated. It's such a big purchase and decision. I am also not from the area so am unfamiliar.

I would put it like this its fine and safe, good 204 schools but if your expecting naperville it is not naperville. Over in that area totally depends on what block your on. Not in terms of crime more in terms of do people take care of their property, supervise their ids, etc.

Alot of investors bought over there so may be some section 8 prob more renters vs owners than some other areas.

Dont get me wrong not knocking it safe area good dist 204 sxhools near naperville etc however anyone expecting naperville may be disapointed. I had a coworker buy in that area who I kno would have prefered naperville. I mentioed these things to her and she said its 3 blocks from white eagle its basically naperville. She doesnt hate the area but at the same time shr complains about screaming and domestic issues with loud neighbors, unsupervised kids, people not mowing lawns picking up garbage out of yards etc. shes a block down from where u mentioned though the st right after the tracks ambover or andrever or sumthing like that
