Is Evergreen Park a safe neighborhood? What's the crime rate in the area? looking to move to a surrounding chicago suburb.

Evergreen Park is pretty nice inner ring suburb, IMHO. It's surrounded by Beverly, Mt. Greenwood and Oak Lawn. No Metra line goes right through it but there are stops in Oak Lawn and Beverly not too far away. Crime rate for 2009 (most recent year available) can be found here.

Default What about 10114 S Fairfield?

You said too far East on Evergreen Park is Bad. What about southwest East. Boundering beverly at 10114 S Fairfield, close to California?

That is not really east, and it's fine. It's a nice area, close to Ridge Country Club. I know many people who live in the area, and someone who lives on Fairfield a few blocks from there.
