Does anyone have any information about the Woodland Hills and Tallgrass subdivisions in Bartlett? I have seen a few houses in each of the subdivisions but would appreciate any thoughts from someone familiar with the area, schools, feel, etc. Are there other similar areas in Bartlett?

I live in Bartlett and it is a nice place to live - safe and quiet. But, there are not many recreational activities in Bartlett, and it is a personal preference. Most of Bartlett subdivisions fall under U-46 and there are not good reviews about U-46. How old are your kids?

Kids are young... will be going to elementary school in a couple years so I'm not too concerned about the High School, although I am concerned about resale value in 5-10 yrs.

Default Moving

Just an update: our offer on a house in the Woodland Hills subdivision was accepted, so we are excited about moving in a couple months! Seems like the area has a lot of families, kids playing in the parks, and active community.

Smile Updates on your move?

Europa, can you provide an update on your move? How do you like the Woodland Hills community and Bartlett as a whole?

Are your taxes similar to what I am seeing for that area (10k a year)?

Hope the move went well!

Phil312- My family and I love our neighborhood! It's definitely one of the nicer neighborhoods in the area (and Bartlett) and is literally right on the border of the more affluent Wayne. If you have children they will attend Wayne elementary down the street. There are many families in the neighborhood and most seem to be pretty active outdoors, especially when it warms up.

The property taxes you mention are on par to what most homeowners are paying, plus there is a $300 assessment each year that pays for the parks in the subdivision, landscaping, etc.

PM me with any additional questions you may have...I'd be more than happy to help.
