Hello,

I am wondering if anyone has a recommendation for a private school in my area. My son is in 8th grade at Roycemore School and I would like to transfer him to another private school. He is not all in to spots but he does enjoy Fencing, Crew, Rock Climbing, Hiking, Street Hockey, Skating, and Soccer. His passion is Music and Acting. He doesn't have a disability and he is used to a moderate to fast paced environment. The only area I could see a little bit of trouble would be his math skills. They are at grade level but I know that is not always enough. He enjoys debating and solving conflict. I have heard good things about Chiaravalle, Lake Forest Country Day, and of course the ever famous Parker and Latin.

We are going to list our home in Evanston for sale in March 2008 and we will be moving in to our dream home we have built in Glencoe. He plans to attend New Trier but we will keep our options open, but it looks like thats what it will be. If you have any information on the Glencoe/Winnetka area such as public programs, parks, entertainment, and restaurants as we have only briefly explored the area. (Yet we built our house there!).

Thanks!

No. We would like either some sort of Prep School or Country Day School. We might consider a Presbyterian School.
