With all of the shootings in Chicago I am nervous to drive into a Summit car lot. It is located a couple of blocks west of Midway on Harlem. Is it safe there??

Summit is far from any part of Chicago that has been plagud by gang violence. A "small town girl" ought to be fine at any used car lot,at least from the perspective of gunfire...

No. I can safely say you're not going to get mugged in Summit. It's a sleepy inner-ring suburb. And probably stop listening to your family when they obviously don't know much of what they're talking about.

You are probably safe. The main problem with Summit is the diSTINKtive odor coming from the Corn Products plant. And I think it repels the bad guys.
