What is a realistic time that it would take to drive from Lake In the Hills to Northbrook during rush hour?

Default Need more details..

Parts of LITH are basically as farther than Huntley. While most of the employment centers of Northbrook are near 294 some are closer to the Edens.

Worst case this could be 90 minutes is average traffic and triple that in a storm. Best case it might just over an over.

Honestly if you are thinking about living in LITH and have a job offer in Northbrook I would look to towns LOTS closer to work...

LITH will be temporary housing with family if the job offer comes through. I have a house to sell in Tennessee and am going to live with family while the house is on the market. Once it sells I plan on getting an apartment a lot closer to Northbrook (Schaumburg, Palatine have been on my radar...)

Thanks for the quick reply!

To complicate matters, Algonquin Road (IL Rte 62) will have lane closures as they build a Rte 31 bypass around downtown Algonquin. The Rte 31/62 intersection is a real PITA, if you can avoid that all the better. I would say 60 minutes on a good day, 90 on a bad day. Non-Rush Hour could make it in 45 -50 minutes.
