I'm planning to put together a birthday party for my kid and his friends. The ages range from 2-11. I only remember going to Chuck E Cheese as a kid, and I hope by now that there are more options that combine fun and safety for the children, and edible food for all.

Any suggestions? I'm not too particular on themes or anything like that, just a creative idea that makes for an enjoyable time for all.
