Looking to potentially move to Elmurst. Looking for people's thoughts on the school district and if anyone has experiences with how they handle kids' IEP's. Thanks

The district is a "unit district" which means the central office staff for the elementary schools and high school all reports to one superintendent / Board of Education / director of student service... In a general sense this give more continuity to students with IEPs.

The performance of York High is a little below that of some of the top tier schools. It is one of the largest high schools in the region and offers a exceptional wide range of classes and activities. The community support for schools did dip a decade or so ago but recent support has seen major upgrades.

If you find a home that you like in Elmhurst I certainly would not worry that schools are a negative.
