Pros and Cons of Poet's Corner Neighborhood in Deerfield? (Waukegan: elementary school, living)

Can anyone familiar with the Poet's Corner neighborhood in Deerfield share the pros and cons of living there?

In case you've never heard of it, it's a small neighborhood just south of Kipling Elementary School with the following borders: Deerfield Road to the north, Waukegan Road to the West and Briarwood Country Club on the East and South.

Streets include: Kipling Pl, Byron Ct, Hermitage Ave, Hermitage Dr, and Longfellow Ave.

Also, wondering how bad the traffic really is cutting through the neighborhood from Waukegan to Deerfield. Additionally, do the school buses cut through the neighborhood or do they just drive down Kipling from Deerfield.

Back when I lived in Deerfield 20 years ago we cut through there all the time to get around the bottle neck of downtown Deerfield. I would check the street signs now and see if there are "no left hand turns" allowed on Deerfield Rd. or "no thru traffic" signs. The advantage to the neighborhood is walking distance to Kipling and all the downtown areas... You named the disadvantages.
