Hi,

I'm taking a job in Warrenville in January. I want to live closer to Chicago, but also a close distance to restaurants and parks. I am not familiar with Chicago's suburbs, but do know that I don't want to live in Warrenville. I am a 22 year old female.

These are the criteria I am considering:

- Less than 45 minutes from Warrenville - I will have a car
- Close to restaurants and bars
- Affordable 1 bedroom ($1000/mo or less)
- close to other young professionals
- and of course safe

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Yes Naperville will be a good choice. Really nice downtown and many apartments in various areas to rent. Very safe.

Lisle would also be an excellent choice -- safe, short commute, lots of nice spots to eat, good variety of casual bars.

If you want to stick to a 45 commute both ways you would probably have a hard time even on the west edge of Forest Park close to the Eisenhower you can forget about actually living any further east of there.
