Hello! I live in the Fox Valley area just off New York & Route 59. Unfortunately, my apartment complex does not recycle and I'm having a difficult time trying to find a place to drop off the basics: cardboard, cans, plastic, & glass. I can't drop items off during business hours due to work, but I would really prefer not to have to throw recyclable items away. Does anyone know of any 24/7 drop off sites (or sites open in the evenings) that are near by?

Thanks!

shmartin, these folks are on Russell Road in Aurora. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like they take paper or glass, but they do take aluminum cans. Perhaps if you contact them they can give you a lead on where you can bring your other items.

They work with commercial and residential and accept walk-in's. Also, they're not 24/7 but they do have weekend hours.

I noticed a couple days ago that Whole Foods Market has a small recycling center. This was the one in Wheaton although my guess is the Naperville one has one too. It was in the area people sit down to eat take out food. It was not just for store related recycling because it said to bring computers there.
