Add to these probably Hodgkins & Countryside.

Suburbs that get mentioned a lot are either highly desirable or highly controversial. Berwyn is probably the 3rd or 4th most mentioned suburb on here, but it needs to improve its schools so that more of that feedback is positive, or there is less feedback!

The City-Data darlings like Naperville, Elmhurst, Wheaton, La Grange, Glen Ellyn, Oak Park, Evanston and a few others get mentioned a lot because they are destination suburbs for the demographic which posts here. Kind of like Lakeview, Lincoln Park, and Wicker Park/Bucktown in the Chicago Forum.

The rest just kind of do their own thing quietly, which is probably just fine with the residents of those communities. What's the old saying? No news is good news, haha!

Morton Grove has decent schools, a relatively high median income and is majority white, with a large Asian population. I don't recall any negative threads on that city (or for that matter any threads on that city). Niles is a little lower on the income food chain than Morton Grove but, again, it's schools are decent, it's mostly white, and I don't recall reading anything controversial about it.

I'm so confused as to if Knollwood is a real town or not. Maybe it is Lake Bluff, maybe it isn't.
